Anna Haugh’s Myrtle Restaurant – Chelsea, London
Anna Haugh is a chef with remarkable energy and dedication to her craft. Her culinary skills have taken her from making roasts for her family when she was 12 to working for the best chefs in London, including Gordon Ramsey.
In early 2019, she made the decision to step out on here own. She created Myrtle – named for Myrtle Allen, Ireland’s first female winner of a Michelin Star – in the heart of Chelsea just off the Kings Road. It would celebrate her Irish heritage whilst showcasing the best of modern European cuisine .
As she began to plan her perfect space, , she realised she could create a high-end, stunning restaurant, but only if she took some budget from her kitchen.

The restaurant opened in May 2019 and has been an instant hit. Anna won the International Chef of the Year Award at the Food and Wine Awards in August 2019. She followed this up with the Newcomer Award at the London Restaurants Festival Awards in November. Now, Anna has been picked as one of the regular chefs on the re-booted TV series Ready, Steady, Cook for 2020, so it looks as though Myrtle will be going from strength to strength!
